Furniture for every room
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Worked in store management for years and saw a need for a rattan and upholstered furniture store in the LbI area. I have an interior design and architecture background.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We keep our showroom intimate and staff it with salaried workers who work as a team to meet the client's needs. Unlike other furniture stores we accessorize to the point of organized clutter creating an environment for treasure hunting.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have had one location for 40 years where we concentrate on great service, great quality hand made furniture and accessories at the best prices. This old fashioned philosophy keeps our overhead low and we can pass it on to our clients. There are no bells and whistles, just one on one personal contact.

From the West: Rt 70 east to Rt 72 east. Take left onto Rt 554 Barnegat Exit. Make left at 8th light onto North Main St, (Rt 9). Our showroom is next to A's Garden Center on right side. Entrance in rear.

We deliver in our trucks with our "white glove" delivery men. throughout New Jersey, Metropolitan New York and Philadephia
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
A. Henry Tawyea is the sole owner and stands behind his products and service. There is an office and sales staff with warehouse staff and deivery. We have a seamstress and furniture repairman who can attend to any updating of older rattan and wicker furniture frames and cushions.
What are your hours of operation?
Open 10 to 5 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Closed Wednesday
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
This is the first furniture buying experience where I laughed and had fun as well as learning something.
