How long have you been in business?
RCK Construction has been around for over 15 years. However, we have well over 25 years experience in the industry.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer many types of services (a very long list actually). As far as our most popular I would have to say decks, additions, and kitchen/bathroom/basement remodels, although our DIY consulting is starting to get busy.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
This all started as a part time job while in highschool. A local builder was building a house next door and offered me some work. I ended up working for him for several years. Even while attending college I would get odd-jobs that were mostly handyman or construction related. I started working for a large remodeling contractor after that, and learned just about everything I could in the industry. Went from laborer, to craftsmen, to hands-on supervisor in a very short time. From there it was a natural progression to start a business of my own.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are many great tradespeople in this industry and as a homeowner it must be tough to decide between them all. We pride ourselves; however, in a few major details:
Customer Service - we show up, we return phone calls, we cheerfully answer questions, and make the homeowner relaxed and as informed as he/she wants to be.
Quality - we wouldn't be able to sleep at night if we turned out shoddy craftmanship. This is what we chose to do, it's our pride and our passion, and we strive to make it show in each and every project.
Customer satisfaction - if you aren't happy then neither are we. We work hard to insure every customer is satisfied with the finished project, and offer a warranty on every job we do. 90% of our business is through referrals and repeat customers, and we feel that says a lot about our business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one location, expansion is always a possiblity, but not a necessity. We have all the tools, skills, and knowledge we need to get the job done and get it done right.

All of Ocean County, NJ but have done jobs all over parts of the Garden State, PA, and NY as well.
