How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I grew up surfing as a kid, making the National Team in 1983-85 representing the US abroad in international competition. After my two year stint on the team I started the surf school to help pay for college and law school i addition to my summer job as a lifeguard. Today my son and step-sons help with the school.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the ONLY Surfing America certified school on the East Coast, providing a comprehensive water safety and educational component with our day lessons and camps for beginners, intermediate and advanced. We have seperate classes for children tteens and adults.
